The corporation is offering Infomediary Services through its B2B portal http://www.MSMEMart.com which is a one-stop, one-window bouquet of aids that will provide information on business, technology and finance, and also exhibit the core competence of Indian SMEs by way of enabling their digital presence for sustenance & growth. The portal has a member base of more than 1,78,000 MSMEs from India and is featuring more than 77,000 products. The key features and services of the portal include unlimited tender information, trade leads, member’s homepage, featured product catalog, Request for Quotation etc.

The services of MSME Global Mart are available to Indian MSMEs on an annual subscription basis. A full-featured trial of membership is available for one month to entrepreneurs Free-of-Cost. The registration process to the portal has been made completely online and paperless during the Covid-19 pandemic. The services can also be availed through MSME Global Mart The app can be downloaded from the Google Play store. The services of MSME Global Mart is also available on the UMANG Mobile App, a digital initiative of NeGD, MeitY, intending to make government services available to the general public online and around the clock.

Initiative taken by the MSME Global Mart portal during the F.Y. 2020-21 in order to facilitate the MSMEs are as follows:-

1. Special Promotional offer in Pandemic: special offer drive of 50% discounted on Membership fee of NSIC B2B portal MSME Global Mart was launched in FY 20-21 during last year Pandemic, in order to increase beneficiaries and provide online marketing support to more and more MSMEs. Also, the Renewal Grace period was also extended from 30 to 90 days, enabling Free & Expired units to upgrade & renew their membership during that period. The offer was published in all leading Newspapers by the Ministry of MSME with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s photograph (Copy of the advertisement is enclosed). This Special offer resulted in the addition of 206% more beneficiaries during 1^st Quarter (Apr-June) of COVID Lockdown as compared to the same period last year.

2. FREE membership: Extension of Trial Period of Free Membership from 7 to 30 days enabling units more time to explore the benefits of the portal.

3. Paperless Online Registration Tool: This initiative was taken during a pandemic and was launched by NSIC Digital Services Facilitation Div. to facilitate Filed Offices for registering New MSMEs on NSIC B2B portal MSMEmart. Using this online tool Filed officials can now register MSMEs online without filling a single paper for providing them much-needed Marketing support. It is very useful in situations like COVID, Strikes, etc.

4. Launch of Mobile App: The services of MSMEGlobalMart are also available through a mobile app since November-2020. The key features offered in the first version of this App include Public Procurement Information, International Trade, Key Catalogs, Success Stories, Prospective buyers, etc. The app is gaining popularity and has more than 35, 000 downloads with 4.5+ ratings by users.

5. Dissemination “Award of Contract (AOC)” information of Public Procurement: Members of MSMEGlobalMart can access the details of “Award of Contract (AOC)” for the public procurement happening in the country. This information gives insights to MSMEs for deciding the price of their products/services to compete in the public procumbent process and be a part of the supply chain of central/state governments.

6. MoU signed with TRIFED: The initiative aimed at Promoting TRIBAL Artisans /Entrepreneurs for providing them much needed Marketing Support by providing them an online platform for wider access and visibility in Domestic & International market.

7. Special offers on Healthcare Services of Major Hospital Groups: NSIC has realized other needs of MSMEs during pandemic scenario apart from their business needs and to cater them, NSIC entered into MoU with four major Hospital Groups Apollo, Max, Fortis & Metro for providing attractive discounts to MSMEGlobalMart registered members & their dependants on various medical services like Investigation, In-patient services, preventive health check-ups, etc.

8. On-boarding of MSME Global Mart on UMANG APP: The initiative has been taken to on-board NSIC B2B portal MSME Global Mart services on UMANG Mobile App, a digital initiative of the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), to drive Mobile Governance in India, intending to make government services available to the general public online and around the clock with over 3cr users.

MSME Global Mart is the first service in India from the MSME segment to be on boarded on the UMANG platform.
